2024 James Beard Awards
We recognized the acknowledgment from the James Beard Awards earlier this year would open doors we had always known were vital and are so grateful to all those who had a hand in last year's nod. From being invited to cook at prominent dinners to being featured in national publications, this past year has truly been a dream.
However, the most meaningful outcomes (and the ones we’re most proud of) that have stemmed from the recognition were twofold: operating at a level of financial efficiency to allow us to support non-profits that make a difference to our local community (including the Children’s Bereavement Center of South Texas, Rise Recovery, Magdalena House, San Antonio Food Bank and many more) and pay a bonus to every single one of our employees during our summer vacation this past June – a goal we’ve worked toward since opening Clementine in 2018.
So, whether you’re stopping by for a great weeknight meal when you don't want to deal with the dishes, celebrating your successes and special occasions, or just wanting to impress your out-of-town guests, we hope you’ll consider taking the time to nominate us in one or all of the following categories:
